摘要
尽管埃及学旨在对古代埃及文明进行科学系统的研究,但作为一门西方人创生的学科,它的诞生和发展与近代以来西方国家的政治博弈和海外扩张息息相关.鉴于西方人认为解读象形文字以及收藏文物能够展现自身文明优越性,因此围绕这一主题各国之间开展了智力竞赛,而埃及学成为了一种提升国际地位的文化力量.然而,随着非洲地区民族解放运动的兴起,埃及等国家寻求建立去西方化的民族历史,以反对殖民统治,20世纪的埃及学研究因此呈现了去殖民化、去西方化的趋势.
Abstract
The present paper points out that Egyptology,which was closely related to the political games of modern Western countries and their colonialism and was finally turned into a cultural tool showcasing the West's superiority,was gradually decolonized and de-Westernized in African countries such as Egypt,where the peoples tried to reconstruct the de-Westernized national history in opposition to the West's colonial rule.
