摘要
本文以民国著名政治人物陆征祥为例,分析他如何把儒家的日常"修身"与基督教的"修行"结合起来,以实践打通儒耶在理论上无法契合的部分.早年的儒耶教育塑造其"以行为先"的信仰实践特质;青年时代在民族主义的冲击下发展出"儒体耶用"的模式,并以外交实践自我证明;中年以后退隐本笃会修道院"以行为实"会通儒耶,在"出世"中践行公义.陆征祥的信仰实践帮助我们将研究视角从儒耶理论之争转到信仰实践层面,进而反思信仰体系的理论建构与实践的关系,为当今宗教本土化讨论提供一个历史观照.
Abstract
The present paper,analyzing in detail Lu Zhengxiang's attempt to fuse Confucian spiritual self-cultivation with Christian religious practice with a view to practically interconnecting theoretically irreconcilable ele-ments in Confucianism and Christianity,contends that Lu's religious practice helped researchers discuss the two teachings from religio-practical rather than from theoretical perspective and most importantly,this can be a historical reference inspiring the indigenization of religion in present-day China.
