Xi Jinping emphasized that"without the prosperity of culture,there will be no great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation".To comprehensively promote Chinese-style modernization,cultural prosperity in the new era is indispensable.Chinese-style modernization is socialist modernization led by the CPC.It has the common characteristics of modernization in all countries,as well as Chinese characteristics based on its own national conditions.Based on the comparison between China's economic modernization and western economic modernization,this paper studies the similarities and differences of cultural factors in different modernization models,so as to deepen the understanding of Chinese path to modernization.It suggests that from the perspective of production,cultural factors have similar mechanisms of action in the modernization of the Chinese economy and the Western economy,both committed to promoting economic development;From the perspective of distribution,western modernization inevitably leads to polarization,and the value orientation of Chinese-style modernization is common prosperity.This paper proposes to take Xi Jinping cultural thought as the guide,to deeply understand the important role of culture in the process of promoting Chinese-style modernization,and to help comprehensively promoting Chinese-style modernization by prospering the new era culture.
