Deepening Rural Education,Enhancing Human Capital and Increasing Farmers'Income in China in the New Era
In the context of the implementation of the rural revitalisation strategy, the human capital effect resulting from deepening education provides an effective path to raise farmers'incomes. The study finds that rural education deepening significantly increases farmers'incomes by enhancing human capital,a finding that holds up after multiple robustness tests. This paper analyses heterogeneity from a multidimensional perspective, and the results show that the promotional effect of rural education deepening on farmers'income is mainly concentrated in the central region, and in terms of gender differences, this promotional effect is relatively larger in the male group compared to the female group, and in terms of different education levels, the positive effect of primary and secondary education deepening on farmers'income is more pronounced. From the perspective of deepening rural education, this study provides a theoretical basis and policy reference for accelerating the construction of a high-quality education system in China, optimising the allocation of regional education resources, and then comprehensively promoting rural revitalisation.
