The Global Development Initiative provides a Chinese solution for a new type of global economic governance.The Global Development Initiative contains profound historical,theoretical,and practical logic for global economic governance.From a historical perspective,the positive and negative practices of global economic governance after World War Ⅱ have shown that global development initiatives can truly lead the common development of the international community.From a theoretical logic perspective,the free riding behavior of public goods leads to a"collective action dilemma",and global development initiatives can effectively avoid the occurrence of a"collective dilemma".From a practical logic perspective,global production networks such as digitization,regionalization,fragmentation,nearshore and localization are constantly being restructured,and global development initiatives are a practical need for global economic governance.The inclusive and balanced approach of the Global Development Initiative aims to bridge the global development deficit,coordinate and build a new type of global development partnership through inclusiveness,collaborate and achieve win-win results,consolidate the joint efforts of international development,and jointly prosper to build a community with a shared future for human development.The practical path of implementing the global development initiative and promoting the new type of global economic governance includes co-building the global development community,improving the connection between the global development initiative and the existing global,regional,sub regional and national development strategies,and promoting the high-quality development of the"the Belt and Road"initiative.
