From Productivity to New Productivity——Based on the History of Economic Thought
Since General Secretary Xi Jinping first proposed the"new productivity"during his visit to Heilongjiang Province in September 2023,the academic community has conducted extensive and in-depth research.Productivity is the most fundamental category of Marxist historical materialism and political economy.Productivity is a historical category.With the development of science and technology and its application in production,the connotation of productivity has always been in a constant process of development.In practice,productivity is bound to obtain different expressions and take on new forms.New productivity is a new form obtained historically and logically in the process of productivity development.Therefore,only in the long process of history can we accurately grasp the scientific connotation and epoch significance of new productivity.Productivity is also a category containing system thinking and methodology.New productivity is the result of productivity system evolution.Only by discovering the decisive force of productivity evolution from the system structure,system evolution logic and evolutionary dynamic mechanism can we accurately grasp the key points and difficulties in developing new quality productivity in the process of promoting high-quality economic development.
