Does Service Industry Agglomeration Contribute to the High-quality Development of Urbanization?
Industry is the internal driving force to promote urbanization.As urbanization enters the middle and late stages,the service industry has become the follow-up driving force of the development of urbanization.The agglomeration characteristics of the service industry are significant,which is of great significance to the high-quality development of urbanization,and the expansion and quality improvement of urbanization are the due meaning of the high-quality development of urbanization.The results show that the development of urbanization scale and quality is spatiotemporal and dislocation,both of which are on the rise.The development of urbanization scale is significantly faster than the improvement of urbanization quality,and the urbanization quality of megacities in eastern China is better than that of cities in other regions.The agglomeration of service industry has both specialization and diversification effects on urbanization scale and quality.Among them,the agglomeration of producer service industry,consumer service industry and social service industry has certain heterogeneity on the"scale-quality"dimension of urbanization.The agglomeration of service industry improves the quality of urbanization by increasing innovation,employment,optimizing industrial structure and human capital agglomeration.The influence of service industry agglomeration on urbanization shows heterogeneity at the"spatial-scale-industry"level.Therefore,this paper proposes to promote the agglomeration development of producer service industry,improve service efficiency and innovation ability,enhance the integrated development of producer service industry and manufacturing industry,promote the agglomeration development of consumer service industry based on demand,attach importance to the important role of social service industry in improving urban comprehensive service function,promote the agglomeration development of service industry according to local conditions,and highlight the important role of innovation and human resources in promoting high-quality urbanization.
