In order to convert the dienes into monoolefins in cracked C5 fraction,selectively,Pd-based catalyst LY-9801 F for C5 selective hydro-genation was developed and used in a 8 kt/a C5 selec-tive hydrogenation unit.The results showed that un-der the process conditions of reaction pressure 0.4-0.8 MPa,reactor inlet temperature 25-45 ℃,fresh material volume space velocity 0.42-0.62 h-1,and circulation ratio of products(25-32):1,the mass fraction of isoprene in the products was 0.09％-0.83％,the mass fraction of diene was less than 1.0％,the conversion rate of isoprene and the selec-tivity of 2-methyl-2-butene was more than 85％,which could meet the operation requirement of the industry unit.
