Process improvement of producing 5# industrial white oil in medium pressure hydrocracking unit
The 5# industrial white oil was produced by using the mixed raw materials composed of vacu-um light wax oil,straight-run diesel and catalytic diesel(wax oil feeding mode)and the mixed raw materials composed of straight-run diesel,catalytic diesel and residual hydrodiesel oil(diesel feeding mode)in the 1.5 Mt/a wax oil medium pressure hy-drocracking unit of Luoyang Petrochemical Compa-ny of SINOPEC.The problem that the kinematic viscosity of the product was not up to standard was solved.The results showed that the circulating hy-drogen flow rate was increased from 195 717 m3/h to 214 780 m3/h,the reaction system pressure was in-creased from 8.7 MPa to 10.2 MPa,and the inlet temperature of the refining(cracking)reactor was increased from 300(321)℃to 318(352)℃in the diesel feeding mode.The kinematic viscosity of the hydrocracking tail oil product was reduced to 5.008 mm2/s.The problem of water in tail oil could be solved by changing the stripping medium of frac-tionator from steam to nitrogen.The tail oil part was thrown out to the catalytic unit or tank field to solve the problem of enrichment of easily colored sub-stances in the tail oil.The extraction amount of avi-ation kerosene was increased from 30 t/h to 45 t/h,the extraction amount of diesel was reduced from 63 t/h to 55 t/h,and the flash point and kinematic viscosity of diesel line products were increased to 132℃,4.361 mm2/s,which met the requirements of white oil indicators in the wax oil feeding mode.
