Research progress on modeling and numerical computation of coke tower
The research progress on the coke for-mation model of the coke tower,the simulation methods of the coke tower(including computational fluid dynamics,finite element analysis,and process simulation)and the reaction kinetics of the petroleum coking process were reviewed with 86 ref-erences.It was pointed out that verifying the univer-sality of the reaction kinetics model,developing dy-namic hybrid simulation methods and developing petroleum coking process models were the develop-ment directions of coke tower modeling and numeri-cal computation.
