Industrial application of diesel catalytic conversion process for reducing ratio of diesel to gasoline
In order to reduce the production of diesel and increase the production of high octane gasoline in a refinery, the diesel catalytic conversion process(DCP)technology developed by Petrochem-ical Research Institute of PetroChina was adopted to reduce the ratio of diesel to gasoline. The feed nozzle of the two-stage riser reactor of the 0.8 Mt/a heavy oil catalytic cracking unit of Yumen Oilfield Compa-ny of PetroChina was modified.Hydrogenated modi-fied diesel was connected from the two nozzles below the refining and slurry nozzles of the second riser into reactor, and the modified unit was calibrated. The results showed that after adopting the DCP pro-cess transformation, when the mass fractions of hy-drogenated modified diesel blended in the unit were 5.0%,7.5%,and 10.0%respectively,compared with the blank calibration, the yields of dry gas and coke decreased by 0.40-0.51 and 0.16-1.23 per-centage points, and the yields of gasoline and lique-fied gas increased by 1.12-1.74 and 0.04-0.55 per-centage points, the total liquid yield increased by 0.71-1.58 percentage points, and the ratio of diesel to gasoline on the unit decreased by 0.01-0.06 units. The volume fraction of olefins in catalytic stabilized gasoline decreased by 0.60-1.95 percentage points, the volume fraction of isoparaffins increased by 1.11-2.29 percentage points, and the research oc-tane number(RON)increased by 0.3-0.7 units. The content of monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in catalytic diesel increased significantly, but the total aromatic hydrocarbon content did not change signifi-cantly.The composition of liquefied gas remained basically unchanged, while the yield of propylene slightly increased.
