In the field of personal information protection,China has developed a paradigm in which the procuratorial authorities take the lead in bringing administrative and civil public interest litigation,while gradually strengthening the support of social groups for such litigation,with the expectation that public and private efforts will go hand in hand to maintain the public interest and protect the self-determination of personal information at the same time.This incorporates the core of restorative justice philosophy which emphasizes filling the interests of the injured party and achieving positive interaction between the state and society,injecting new practical vitality into traditional theories.
