"Problem"of and"Solution"to Digital Divide of the Elderly from Perspective of Demand
The rapid development of the digital society has made crossing the"digital divide"a difficult problem that must be solved for the elderly to integrate into the digital society and enjoy a high-quality life.This paper innovatively explores the generation logic of the"digital divide"of the elderly,by taking the real digital needs of the elderly as a guide,starting from clarifying the digital difficulties encountered by the elderly in five major high-frequency matters,such as daily transportation,medical care,consumption,entertainment,and work.Then,based on clarifying the problems and causes of the"digital divide"of the elderly,it focuses on the core issue of the digital needs of the elderly,and innovatively proposes to meet the needs of the elderly at different levels,which accurately captures the digital needs of the elderly with a"digital base"system,adapts technology to the needs of the elderly and gives play to the role of friends and family in stimulating the digital needs,achieving the goal of improving the quality of life of the elderly.
