Chinese modernization is a correct development path opened up by the Chinese Communists by combining the basic principles of scientific socialism with China's national conditions and social realities in the practice of revolution,construction,and reform.It has the common characteristics of modernization in all countries and the Chinese characteristics based on national cultural genes.The dialectical unity of nationality and cosmopolitanism shows the new picture and new pattern of Chinese modernization different from western capitalist modernization,and lays a more solid foundation for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation from the organic integration of history,reality,and future.On the one hand,Chinese modernization is rooted in extensive and profound national culture,adheres to fine national traditions,and is committed to national rejuvenation.On the other hand,it has a distinct and unique openness,inclusiveness that embraces all cultures,and profound and lasting global influence.The dialectical unity of nationality and cosmopolitanism lies in the process of the formation and development of Chinese modernization,in the scientific connotation and value concept of the new form of human civilization,and in the historical process of the sinicization and modernization of Marxism.
