Digital Economy Driving Regional Integration Development:Mechanism and Realization Pathways
The digital economy is a new driving force for promoting regional integration development.This paper explores the mechanism of the role of digital economy in promoting regional integration development from the aspects of amplifying the scale of inter-city borrowing through digital infrastructure,guiding the free flow and efficient allocation of elements through data elements,expanding market boundaries and scale through digital platforms,transforming industrial organizational forms through digital platforms,promoting knowledge spillover and technology diffusion through digital technology,and enhancing the efficiency of regional collaborative governance through digital governance.However,in the process of driving regional integration development,the digital economy still faces practical challenges such as the need to improve data element market construction,duplicate construction and regional homogenization competition,digital divide hindering regional integration development,digital platform monopoly affecting regional fair competition,and the urgent need to improve the digital collaborative governance mechanism.Efforts should be made to improve the construction of data element markets,implement differentiated digital economy development strategies,bridge regional digital divide,strengthen anti-monopoly supervision of digital platforms,and build new mechanisms for digital collaborative governance to overcome obstacles hindering regional integration and achieve regional integration development.
