In the era of AI,how to coordinate the power of science and technology,particularly artificial intelligence,to benefit human society is critical for both theoretical exploration and practical implementation.The humanities provide a moral compass for the progress of science and technology,while science and technology empower the development of humanities.The integration of technology and the humanities is essential to addressing challenges in this era.As the embodiment of human civilization,language and literature,with their shaping,guiding,and mediating roles,steer the integration of technologies into everyday life.Technological advancements also inspire scholars of the humanities and social sciences to rethink the material foundations and social practices of knowledge production.Fostering the integration of technology and the humanities is not only a strong response to the rapid pace of unprecedented global changes,but also a proactive effort to build China's independence knowledge system of the new liberal arts.The guidance of chief editors from reputable academic journals and the insights from promising young scholars are vital in bringing the techno-humanities community from theory into practice.
