Zhao Bizhen and the Spread of Early Socialist Thought from the Perspective of Qiao-Yi
As a representative modem intellectual in the history of early socialist thought dissemination,Zhao Bizhen translated and introduced early socialist theoretical works such as Monster of the Twentieth Century and Kinsei Syakaisyugi in the early 20th century, and was a pioneer in the dissemination of socialist thought.Zhao Bizhen's ideological transformation at several important points in his life, from being exposed to the reformist ideology to translating and disseminating socialist ideas,is closely related to his earlier regional changes in location, such as traveling from his hometown of Changde to Changsha, exiling from Changsha to Japan.By analyzing the displacement trajectory of Zhao Bizhen's cross-regional and cross-national positions from the perspective of Qiao-Yi,a more three-dimensional view of his ideological changes is presented in the historical context, enriching the research of the"history of studying abroad"of group and individual intellectuals who stayed in Japan in the late Qing Dynasty.
