In the deficiency of epistemology in Chinese philosophy,the core problem is the deficiency of formalization.In the epistemology of Western philosophy,formalization runs through all the time.It is the original thinking way in the study of philosophy,and it runs through the major proposition of Western philosophy with the original nature.It defines the philosophy as the pursuit of knowledge certainty,makes"philosophy as the foundation of science",and develops to the pursuit of"philosophy as a strict science".Today,we still need overcome the ambiguity of language through the construction of formalization,and provide conditions for thinking to grasp the nature and society accurately.Today,in modern Western philosophy,it can be said that many philosophical forms basically more or less use the philosophical way of formalization.There is a deficiency of epistemology in Chinese philosophy,not to mention formalized mode of thinking.To introduce the formalization in Western philosophy to China is a great significance to the progress of our mode of thinking.
