Technological Scrutiny and the Critique of Capitalism——A Study of Deleuze's Theory of Control Society
The relationship between technology and society and human life is bidirectional, both as part of the power structures and driving force in influencing and changing these structures. With the advent of the digital era, technology has become the core of building a social control system, forming a technology-centered,individual-oriented social control system.Deleuze emphasizes that modem society has entered the control society, which is reflected not only in the changes in social control mechanisms, but also in the evolution of power relations and the complexity of social structures. The digital chains constructed by the control society to realize its influence cannot simply be regarded as a product of technological development, but should be deeply analyzed for the hidden power dynamics and capitalist axioms behind them.In order to escape from the regulations and norms imposed on individuals by the control society,Deleuze constructs"generation"as a new strategy of resistance, calling on individuals to reestablish their relationship with the body, society and freedom.
