Advancing Digital Journalism Theory for Fostering Digital Civilization
The innovation of the digital journalism theory paradigm can be pursued through two research avenues:firstly,by examining societal and theoretical backgrounds,particularly emphasizing the core concepts of digital society and digital civilization,to scrutinize the congruence between journalism theory innovation and its con-text;secondly,by exploring the endogenous logic of journalism and the evolution of journalism theory.Digital journalism must continually enrich and develop its theoretical framework,investigating the characteristics and principles of digital civilization,digital narrative methods,media convergence practices,modes of public en-gagement and interaction,as well as ethical regulations in the field of digital journalism,to provide theoretical support and practical guidance for the advancement of digital civilization.
