Preliminary study on the control effect of different soil improvement methods on the clubroot in Guangdong cabbage
The effects of different soil improvement methods on the incidence rate, control effect of Guangdong cabbage clubroot, its fresh and dry weight, and soil physical and chemical properties were studied by applying different soil amendments or compound microbial fertilizers to the soil before planting and at the seedling stage,in order to screen out suitable soil improvement methods for clubroot control and reduce the harm of clubroot to cruciferous vegetables. The results showed that the fresh and dry weight of Guangdong cabbage was the highest when using composite microbial fertilizer, fully water-soluble fertilizer, biological growth promoting agent, urea, and potassium sulfate as the base fertilizer, and organic total nutrient water-soluble fertilizer and biological growth promoting agent as the topdressing(T3 treatment). It also had the best control effect on clubroot, with a control effect of 58.92%at 45 days. The soil pH and available phosphorus content of different treatments decreased to varying degrees, while the content of total nitrogen, alkaline nitrogen, available potassium, and exchangeable calcium in soil increased to varying degrees.Correlation analysis showed that the disease index of Guangdong cabbage clubroot was highly significantly positively correlated with the fresh weight of Guangdong cabbage, and significantly positively correlated with soil pH.
