Characteristics of public opinion risk on edible agro-food quality and safety in China
Descriptive statistics analysis,variance analysis,correlation analysis and regression analysis were used to analyze the real-time monitoring data of public opinion events on edible agro-food quality and safety in China from 2012 to 2019.The characteristics of the time nodes,occurrence region,risk inducements,agricultural sectors,industry chain links and the first media exposure of public opinion events were summarized to reveal the development trend of domestic public opinion risk of edible agro-food quality and safety.The results showed that the occurrence of public opinion events was periodic with peaks in summer and autumn;Guangdong,Shandong,Zhejiang and Beijing were the areas with high incidence of public opinion events;the risk inducements were complicated with"illegal agricultural,animal and fishery drugs and drug residues in agriculture,animals and fisheries"(27.03%),"fake and illegal processing of foods"(22.06%)and"illegal addition"(15.00%)as the top three incentives;the events were concentrated in planting industry(30.10%)and animal husbandry(29.86%),and most occurred at the front of the industrial chain,specifically in production and primary processing links;newspapers(45.30%)and websites(43.59%)were the main sources for the first media exposure of public opinion events.
