Case study and implications of Japan's rural tourism
Japan has carried out Green tourism as the main approach to stimulate regional vitality after experiencing the recession in agriculture and rural areas.Japan takes urban-rural co-construction as the basic concept of green tourism,introduces supporting policies in four different stages.As a result,the development level of green tourism has been continuously improved,formed a variety of unique development models and tourism projects.Cultural exchange green tourism in Gunma Prefecture integrates culture,art and tourism.Educational green tourism in Iwate Prefecture creates opportunities for students to experience agriculture.Leisure experience-based green tourism in Miyagi Prefecture takes the integration of high-quality agricultural products and three-industry integration as the core driving force of green tourism.In order to promote development of rural tourism in China,the following suggestions are proposed:to formulate tourism themes in different regions,to introduce supporting policies at different stages,to stimulate farmers'enthusiasm for rural construction,to attach importance to the construction of rural culture,to promote the integration of rural tourism and education as well as to strengthen regional agricultural brand.
