Creation and resistance identification of clubroot resistance germplasms in non-heading Chinese cabbage
Chinese cabbage,resistant-clubroot disease and non-heading Chinese cabbage were used as test materials.Through hybridization, backcrossing, and self-crossing for five generations, two new resistant-clubroot disease germplasm resources were created and numbered BC20 and Q20.Every generation was conducted vaccination identification and compared with agronomic characters. The results showed that the two new germplasms had the resistance of clubroot disease and the similar agronomic traits of Q16.The plants were upright with medium height and grew fast and strongly. They had green leaves, wide elliptic leaves,spatula-shaped petioles, medium length and narrow width. The BC20 had smoother leaves while Q20's were slightly wrinkl. The new germplasms will provide a basic resource for breeding new varieties of clubroot-resistant non-heading Chinese cabbage.
