Study on the aroma characterization of 38 different peach germplasm resources based on electronic nose technology
PEN3 electronic nose was used to detect the aroma of 38 peach germplasm resources, and the sensor response information was analyzed by Principal Component Analysis(PC A),Loading Analysis(LA)and Linear Discriminant Analysis(LDA)using Winmuster software, providing reference for peach flavor quality evaluation and aroma breeding. The results showed that PCA analysis could clearly distinguish the 6 cultivars(lines)of Hu 439,Hu341,'Huyou 005',Hu 443,'Zhongtao Feiyu'and'Shaoyang Baitao'from the other 32 cultivars(lines);LA analysis showed that in the differentiation of different peach cultivars(lines),sensors W1W(sulfides,terpenes)and W1S(methane)played a major role, while sensors W5S(nitrogen oxides)and W2W(organic sulfides)played a secondary role;LDA analysis could not distinguish between peach cultivars(lines)and breeding cultivars,as well as between nectarines and ordinary peaches, but it had a certain effect on distinguishing Japanese peaches from local peaches and yellow and white flesh peaches.Research shows that electronic nose technology is an important means of quickly screening aroma specific germplasm based on the differences in aroma substances among different peach cultivars(lines).
