Study on cultivation method of selenium-enriched barley seedlings
This article aimed to clarify the optimal cultivation conditions for selenium-rich barley seedlings. Two barley varieties'H30'and'XL22'were taken as the research objects and cultivated in a suitable growth environment(22 ℃,12 h continuous light per day).Based on physiological indicators such as total selenium content in the shoots, plant height, and the fresh weight, the optimal fertilization method, selenium fertilizer dosage, selenium fertilizer type, and barley variety was determined by using the single factor experiment. The results showed that with the foliar application of nanometer selenium fertilizer(10.0 mg/kg,fertilize every 7 days)on'H30'seedlings,after 21 days, the plant height was 51.2 cm,the fresh weight was 3.4 g,and the total selenium concentration could reach 8.598 mg/kg.Compared with the control group, the total selenium content in barley seedlings, plant height, and the fresh weight were all increased, and the selenium content in barley seedlings exceeded the national standard for selenium-rich food(0.15 mg/kg),making it the best combination of reasonable fertilization conditions. Therefore, this study could provide a theoretical basis for further development of new selenium-enriched barley leaf products.
