Research progress on pathogenesis of porcine deltacoronavirus
Porcine deltacoronavirus(PDCoV)is a new enteropathogenic coronavirus that has been prevalent in pigs.It can cause diarrhea, vomiting, dehydration and even death in pigs, which poses a great threat to the pig industry.PDCoV can replicate in pigs, poultry and calves, and even can be detected in human plasma, poseing a potential threat to public health. Therefore,it is important to carry out in-depth research on the pathogenesis of PDCoV for its prevention and control. The author summarized the progress of PDCoV pathogenesis from the aspects of its invasion into host cells, antagonism of interferon reaction, inducing cell apoptosis, regulating cell autophagy, inhibiting cell pyrolytic pathway to escape host immune response, and other molecular mechanisms that affected the replication of PDCoV,which would provide reference for subsequent scientific research and effective prevention.
