The basic principles and methods of gesture recognition are elaborated.By collect-ing,preprocessing,and extracting features from acceleration data,gesture recognition is achieved by using a BP neural network and constructing a decision tree.Experimental results show that the pro-posed algorithm has high accuracy and reliability,providing valuable reference for the development of gesture recognition technology.
