Academic Journals and the Formation of Chinese Modern Legal KNowledge Based on the research of The Law Review,Chinese Journal of Law and Legal Quarterly/The China Law Review
Since modern China,academic journals have been the main carrier for publishing research results.With the for-mation of modern Chinese academic kNowledge system,the publication and distribution of academic journals are becoming more and more mature.The academic journals of law represented by The Law Review(法律评论),Chinese Journal of Law(中华法学杂志)and Legal Quarterly(法学季刊)all played an important role in the formation of the kNowledge system of modern Chinese law,although their sponsors,publishing cycles and publishing styles were different.Among them,the research on the Chinese Legal Family(中华法系),the comparative study on the Chinese and foreign legal systems,and the editing and publishing of Eng-lish legal journals are still of reference significance to the current legal academic and publishing.Judging from the overall situa-tion of the papers published in these three law academic journals,attaching importance to traditional culture,facing practical dif-ficulties,and maintaining a global perspective are important reasons for the formation of the Chinese law academic community,and should also become the academic style that Chinese law academic and publishing circles continue to adhere to.
