Human-Machine Integration,Virtual Image,and Ethical Warning:"Continuing the Discussion" on Film Industry Aesthetics in the Age of Artificial Intelligence(Ⅰ)
The rapid development of high-tech technologies with artificial intelligence as the engine has brought tremendous impact to the film industry,filmmakers'thinking,imagination,subjectivity,rationality of work,and modes of existence.It also poses new challenges to film theory construction.Film industry aesthetics,based on the development of the film industry,indus-trial upgrading,and the creative works of new-generation directors,involves dimensions such as original theory,methodology,creative theory,ontology,audience theory,and communication theory.It is a new academic discourse and knowledge system of film interpretation constructed in the context of new media.Therefore,the current film industry aesthetics needs to"continue the discussion"in the context of the development of artificial intelligence.In the subjective dimension,"human-machine integra-tion"has become an extension of the director's body and reconstruction of organs,leading to a crisis of subjectivity.In the image dimension,a large number of AI-generated virtual images have subverted the ontology of images and the standards of authentic-ity.In the ethical dimension,it is necessary to pay attention to the increasingly intensified internal/external film ethical issues and adhere to the principle of"people-oriented".
