Ketamine,as a non-barbital intravenous anesthetic,has been widely used in clinical anesthesia and sedation.Esketamine is the dextral isomer of ketaming,which has been on the market in China since 2019;its sedation and analgesic effect is better than ketamine and has fewer adverse reactions.This article will review the clinical application and common adverse reactions of esketamine in anesthesia,and treatment of mental and nervous system diseases,acute and critical diseases,to provide reference for clinicians.
