The 3D bio-printing is a technique that spatially arranges living cells, biomaterials, drugs, growth factors and genes by layer. The application of 3D bio-printing has made remarkable progress in the field of bone and cartilage repair.Compared to traditional surgical treatment,it has great advantages of less tissue trauma, shorter time consuming and fewer complications,as well as higher bioactivity and higher biocompatibility. This article gives an account of how 3D bioprinting technique produces bioactive and biocompatible bone and cartilage tissue by using biodegradable materials and cells,to provide reference for its clinical application.
