The uterine microbiota is closely associated with a wide range of gynecological diseases,when the balance of the microbiota is disrupted,infertility may occur.Exploration of the uterine microbial composition and changes in infertile women has revealed that the presence of specific strains or changes in the composition of the uterine microbiota may affect pregnancy outcomes;and treatments that target the uterine microbiota balance and uterine microbiota environment can increase the clinical pregnancy rates.Many studies are undergoing on the correlation between infertility and the uterine microbiota,application of relevant treatment to improve the endometrial receptivity and using uterine microbiota condition as a predictor of pregnancy outcome.This article reviews the research progress on the features of the uterine microbiota,the relationship between the uterine microbiota and infertility,and the related treatment,in order to provide reference for further studies.
