Due to the prominent standard script features of the Chenzhou Western Jin slips,it is easy to overlook some of its semi-cursive traits.By focusing on the semi-cursive brushwork connotation of the Chenzhou slips,the present article aims to provide a deeper understanding of handwriting phenomena during the Western Jin period.
