摘要
"書體學"是針對當前因學科分治而導致研究成果出現"空洞""淤積"和"瑣碎"的弊端而提出的應對策略,是試圖突破既有的"史""論""評"框架以凝練學科内核的前沿舉措.文章從"書體學"研究的内在脉絡出發,借助"文體學"研究的思路,以辨體、述體、立體、破體、尊體五個方面綰結綱目,對"書體學"的概念體系、資料範圍、歷史流變、學科内涵、當代意義進行全面闡述.最後指出,"書體學"研究有必要在溯源于字、歸本于人、重構"體法"方面有所作爲,方無愧于渴盼書法復興的偉大時代.
Abstract
The term"scriptology"(shutixue)refers to a strategy to deal with the drawbacks of shallowness,stagnation and triviality in research,caused by the disciplines into which Chinese calligraphy is divided.It is an innovative method intended to break through the existing framework of"history"(shi),"discourse"(lun)and"critique"(ping)and to condense the core of the disciplines.Starting from the internal context of the study of scriptology and making reference to the approach to research found in the discipline of stylistics(wentixue),this paper gives a comprehensive exposition of the conceptual system,data scope,historical evolution,subject connotation and contemporary significance of calligraphic scriptology.It is structured around five themes,namely"distinction of the scripts"(bianti),"description of the scripts"(shuti),"foundation of the scripts"(liti),"divergence from the scripts(poti),and"adherence to the scripts"(zunti).Finally,calligraphic scriptology must make considerable advances in tracking its source to Chinese characters and its origin to human and in re-building a"system of scripts"(tifa),if it hopes to bring about a great era in the revival of Chinese calligraphy.
