From Spatial Injustice to Spatial Justice:Issues,Attribution,and Pathways in Urban Spatial Governance
The process of urban spatial governance in the context of Chinese-style moderni-zation aims to further the realization of people's better lives.Without fair,just,and timely pro-tection of people's urban spatial rights,significant disparities among public entities in the alloca-tion and acquisition of urban spatial resources and rights can lead to issues such as spatial depriva-tion,spatial segregation,and spatial poverty.These issues stem from the loss of spatial subjec-tivity,resulting in spatial homogeneity and the loss of spatial culture,among other injustices.By exploring the generation logic of urban space,the spatial subject logic,urban civilization logic,the goal is to steer urban spatial injustices towards a new direction.Guided by the concept of spa-tial justice in the new era,efforts are directed towards leveraging the role of modern urban spatial governance measures,gradually establishing a city development pattern that embodies spatial jus-tice capable of fulfilling people's aspirations for a better life.
