Visualized analysis of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of hyperlipidemia based on CiteSpace
Objective:To explore the research hotspots and development trends in the field of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of hyperlipidemia by CiteSpace.Methods:The core journals of China National Knowledge Infra-structure and Chinese Science Citation Database(CSCD)were searched,and the relevant articles(from January 1,2000 to November 1,2023)on the treatment of hyperlipidemia with traditional Chinese medicine were imported into CiteSpace soft-ware to visually analyze the authors,institutions and keywords.Results:A total of 170 articles,455 authors and 249 insti-tutions were included.From 2000 to 2023,the literature on the treatment of hyperlipidemia by traditional Chinese medicine had a relatively small number of publications,and there were three stages with a large number of publications,namely 2004-2006,2010-2011 and 2015-2016.And the number of publications had shown a decreasing trend since 2021.The top 5 institutions in terms of publication volume were Dongzhimen Hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine(5 ar-ticles),Beijing University of Chinese Medicine(5 articles),Key Laboratory of TCM Visceral Manifestations Theory and Application of Ministry of Education of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine(5 articles),Nanjing Univer-sity of Chinese Medicine(4 articles),and the Third People's Hospital of Yancheng City in Jiangsu Province(4 articles).Among them,only Dongzhimen Hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine had established close cooperation with several local institutions and institutions in Jiangsu Province,while most of the cooperation between other institutions was between local medical colleges and their affiliated hospitals.Hyperlipidemia,obesity,blood lipids,clinical researches,and inflammatory factors were high frequency keywords.Conclusion:The research hotspots of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of hyperlipidemia are mainly exploring the mechanism of self-prepared prescriptions or classical prescrip-tions,the use of acupuncture and moxibustion for intervention,and the use of Chinese herbs in the treatment of hyperlipid-emia after AIDS antiretroviral therapy.
