Regulation of traditional Chinese medicine on tumor immunity based on the system of"Qi trans-formation of triple energizers-nutritive and defensive Qi"
Tumor immunity plays a role in killing tumor cells and protecting the body.The wide application of immune checkpoint inhibitors(ICIs)has opened up a new pattern of tumor therapy,but there are also problems such as limited effi-cacy of single drug and safety of combined drugs.Based on the system of"Qi transformation of triple energizers-nutritive and defensive Qi",the possibility of regulating tumor immunity and enhancing effect of traditional Chinese medicine is dis-cussed.In this paper,we discuss the understanding of modern tumor immunity in TCM from the macroscopic perspective of Qi transformation of triple energizers,analyze the relationship between nutritive and defensive Qi,modern immunity and tu-mor immunity,and explore the TCM regulating tumor immunotherapy in combination with pathological factors such as phlegm turbidity and blood stasis in the occurrence and development of cancer.By promoting the normal Qi transformation of triple energizers to play the roles of immune function of detoxicating and resolving a mass and interaction between nutritive and defensive Qi and using the methods of supplementing Qi and activating blood circulation,removing stasis and dredging collaterals,and warming Yang and eliminating phlegm,the Qi of whole body will be smooth,so as to achieve the effect of restoring the healthy Qi and eliminating the pathogenic factors.
