Primary osteoporosis(POP)is characterized by high prevalence and high disability rate,which seriously affects the health and life quality of the elderly.It is of practical significance to seek effective prevention and treatment meth-ods.In this study,the muscle-bone interaction is taken as the starting point and muslce-bone interaction mechanism is a new target for traditional exercises to prevent and treat POP to explore the research ideas of traditional exercises for the pre-vention and treatment of primary osteoporosis.Tai Chi nourishes breath and strengthens muscles,tendons and bones;five-animal boxing regulates fu-organs,dredges collaterals and improves the stability of lumbar spine;Yijin Jing,which is characterized by static and dynamic combination,reduces the risk of falling;eight trigrams boxing regulates the body,Qi and mind,which can tonify kidney and strengthen tendons and bones.On the one hand,traditional exercises can improve bone density and bone strength.On the other hand,they can improve muscle mass and strength,strengthen mechanical con-duction to promote bone metabolism,and regulate the muscle and bone bi-directionally to form a closed circulatory circuit.
