Visualized analysis of clinical research on acupoint application for asthma based on CiteSpace
Objective:To analyze and explore the hotspots and trends in the clinical research field of acupoint appli-cation in the treatment of asthma based on CiteSpace software.Methods:The relevant literature on acupoint application for asthma from January 1,2000 to January 1,2023 was retrieved in CNKI database,and imported into CiteSpace 6.1.R6 soft-ware and Microsoft Excel 2019 to generate the knowledge maps of keywords,core authors and research institutions.Then the knowledge maps were analyzed.Results:A total of 896 articles were included,and there were 14 keywords with fre-quency≥20 times.The top 3 keywords were acupoint application(619 times),asthma(183 times),and winter disease cured in summer(157 times).The top 5 keyword clusters were#0 acupoint application,#1 asthma,#2 winter disease cured in summer,#3 pediatric asthma,and#4 lung function.The outburst intensity of lung function was the highest(8.83),followed by nursing(4.64),and keywords such as clinical efficacy,treatment effect,children,and lung function were concentrated in 2018.There were 7 core authors,among which Liu Lanying published the most articles,with a total of 30 articles.There were 451 research institutions in total,among which Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine and Af-filiated Hospital of Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine published the most articles and were the main body of research in this field.They were multi-regional and cross-institution cooperation and exchange,and the cooperation between other institutions was mostly the cooperation between universities and their affiliated hospitals.Conclusion:At present,the in-tervention effect of acupoint application on asthma,the effectiveness of acupoint application in the treatment of pediatric asthma,and the mechanism of acupoint application in the treatment of asthma are research hotspots.The main research trends are the treatment of Qi deficiency of luang and spleen type asthma with acupoint application,mechanism of action,regulation of immunity and safety.Multi-regional and cross-institutional cooperation and exchanges should be strengthened.
