Medication rules of Professor Liu Huaizhen in the treatment of acne vulgaris based on data mining technology
Objective:To analyze Professor Liu Huaizhen's medication rules in the treatment of acne vulgaris based on data mining technology,and summarize his clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of acne.Methods:Tradi-tional Chinese medicine prescriptions for patients with acne treated in the endocrine clinic of the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Chinese Medicine from July 1,2022 to October 1,2023 were screened.Microsoft Office Excel 2016,SPSS Statistics 27.0,and SPSS Modeler 18.0 statistical software were used for frequency,association rules and cluster analysis,and the medication rules were summarized.Results:A total of 229 prescriptions were included in this study,and a total of 161 drugs were used.The most frequently used drugs were Pugongying(200 times),Chaihu(199 times),Dang-gui(194 times),Dihuang(189 times),and Dahuang(177 times).There were 47 core couplet medicines,and the most common couplet medicines were Pugongying-Chaihu,Chaihu-Danggui,and Pugongying-Danggui,among which Dahuang-Pugongying had the highest support,and Huangqin and Danggui-Chaihu had the highest confidence.Three core prescrip-tions were obtained by cluster analysis.Prescription 1:Dihuang,Shanyao,Mudanpi,Danshen,Pugongying,Zihuadiding,Dahuang,Chaihu,Huangqin,Pipa leaves,Baibu and Chuanlianzi.Prescription 2:Tiankuizi,Gancao,Dangshen,Zhe-beimu,Xiakucao,Baihe and Lianqiao.Prescription 3:Zhishi,Nvzhenzi,Fuling,Baizhi,Baishao,Baizhu,Zhigancao,Yimucao,Chishao,Danggui and Chuanxiong.Conclusion:Prof.Liu Huaizhen believes that the main pathogenesis of acne is"dampness,heat and toxin",and attaches great importance to the treatment of acne from the heart,liver,spleen and lung.The medication is based on heat-clearing and toxicity-removing,supplemented by reducing fire,eliminating car-buncle,eliminating pathogens and strengthening the spleen.Prof.Liu Huaizhen uses meridian-guiding drugs skillfully,which reflects the characteristics of regulating meridians,clearing the upper,regulating the middle and promoting the lower.
