Medication rules of Chinese patent medicines for cough based on the latent structure combined with association rules
Objective:To explore the medication characteristics and compatibility regularity of Chinese patent medi-cines for the treatment of cough.Methods:The Chinese patent medicines for the treatment of cough included in the 2020 edition and supplement of the Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China were screened.The relevant information was input into Excel tables successively,and standardized processing was carried out to establish a database.Excel was used to make statistical analysis of the frequency,efficacy,nature,falvor and channel tropism of the included drugs.The latent structure model of Chinese patent medicines for the treatment of cough was constructed by using LTM-EAST algorithm in Kongming Lantern 5.0.The latent variables were comprehensively clustered.The association rules were analyzed and the vi-sualization network was presented by SPSS Modeler 18.0.Results:A total of 242 kinds of Chinese patent medicines were in-cluded,with 13 kinds of dosage forms.The common dosage forms were pills,granules,mixtures and tablets.There were 171 effective prescriptions for the combination of different dosage forms of the same prescription of Chinese patent medi-cines,and the top five syndromes were wind-heat attacking the lung,phlegm-heat congesting the lung,wind-cold attack-ing the lung,phlegm-dampness accumulating in the lung and deficiency of lung-Yin.There were 274 kinds of drus involved in the 171 kinds of Chinese patent medicines for the treatment of cough,with a total frequency of 1533 times.There were 88 drugs used more than 5 times,mainly heat-clearing drugs,relieving exterior disorder drugs and phlegm-eliminating drugs.The top 10 drugs used most frequently were Gancao,Jiegeng,Kuxingren,Huangqin,Mahuang,Bohe,Chenpi,Qianhu,Shigao and Lianqiao.88 high-frequency drugs were used to construct latent structure model and analyze association rules.A total of 16 latent variables were obtained,which were clustered into 8 categories,and 22 high-frequency drug combinations were obtained.Conclusion:The latent structure model and association rules show that Chinese patent medicines for treating cough are mainly wind-heat dispersing drugs and heat-clearing and phlegm-eliminating drugs,and the main pathological factors of cough are phlegm-heat and wind-heat.
