Objective:To observe the improvement effect of Sancai leveling moxibustion on residual symptoms of be-nign paroxysm postitional vertigo patients.Methods:A total of 60 patients with benign paroxysm postitional vertigo with re-sidual symptoms after manual reduction admitted to the Department of Encephalopathy of Henan Integrative Medicine Hos-pital from June 2022 to June 2023 were selected as the research objects.The 60 patients were divided into the treatment group and the control group by random number table method,with 30 cases in each group.The patients in the control group were treated with conventional medication(betahistine mesylate tablets)combined with vestibular rehabilitation training,and the patients in the treatment group were treated with Sancai leveling moxibustion on the treatment basis of the control group.After 4 weeks of treatment,the total effective rate,recurrence,and vertigo symptom scores before and after treat-ment were compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate was 93.3%in the treatment group and 70.0%in the control group(χ2=7.72,P=0.02).The total effective rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group.The recurrence rate in the treatment group was 3.3%,which was significantly lower than 26.7%in the control group(χ2=4.32,P=0.04),and the difference was statistically significant.Conclusion:Sancai leveling moxibustion can effectively increase the total effective rate of benign paroxysm postitional vertigo patients,reduce recurrence,alleviate residual symp-toms after reduction,relieve anxiety and improve the treatment effect of the disease.
