Medication rules of Professor Fang Zhaohui in treating thyroid nodules with phlegm coagulation caused by Qi stagnation based on data mining
Objective:To explore the medication rules and clinical experience of Professor Fang Zhaohui in the treatment of thyroid nodules with phlegm coagulation caused by Qi stagnation by using Chinese herbal prescriptions.Methods:189 cases of thyroid nodules with phlegm coagulation caused by Qi stagnation treated by Prof.Fang Zhaohui with Chinese herbal pre-scriptions were collected.Data mining technology was used to carry out drug frequency analysis,nature,flavor and channel tropism analysis,efficacy analysis,association rule analysis and cluster analysis,and core drugs and associated combinations were summarized.Results:A total of 200 prescriptions were included,involving 193 kinds of Chinese herbs and 2975 drug use frequencies.The use frequencies of Fuling,Hehuanpi,Xiakucao,Zexie,Baizhu,Danggui,Yuanzhi and Baihe were higher than 30%.The commonly used drugs were deficiency-tonifying drugs,heat-clearing drugs,dampness-clearing and diuresis-promoting drugs,tranquilizing drugs,etc.The medicinal flavor was mainly sweet and bitter.The channel tropism was mainly based on liver,lung and spleen channels.Conclusion:Prof.Fang Zhaohui treats thyroid nodules with phlegm coagula-tion caused by Qi stagnation by regulating Qi and removing phlegm,clearing dampness and promoting diuresis,combined with invigorating spleen for benefiting lung,clearing heat and calming mind,activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis.
