Clinical study of modified Danggui Yin combined with mometasone furoate ointment in the treatment of skin dryness and pruritus associated with osimertinib after operation for early non-small cell lung carcinoma
Objective:To observe the clinical effect of modified Danggui Yin combined with mometasone furoate oint-ment in the treatment of skin dryness and pruritus associated with osimertinib after operation for early non-small cell lung carcinoma(NSCLC).Methods:A total of 60 TNM stage ⅠB～ⅢA patients after NSCLC who developed dry and pruritus skin caused by blood deficiency and wind-dryness after osimertinib treatment were randomly divided into observation group and control group.Patients in the observation group were treated with modified Danggui external use of mometasone furoate oint-ment,while patients in the control group were treated with mometasone furoate ointment only.The two groups were treated for 4 courses(7 days for 1 course).Then,the score and efficacy of skin dryness and pruritus symptom,the grade of skin dryness and pruritus and the score of Dermatology Life Quality Index(DLQI)were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.Results:After treatment,the scores of pruritus symptoms in both groups were lower than those before treatment,and the scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group except for the skin lesion area(P<0.05,P<0.01).After treatment,the scores of skin dryness symptoms in the two groups were lower than those before treatment,and the scores in the observation group were better than those in the control group(P<0.01).After treatment,the degree of skin dry-ness and pruritus in the two groups decreased,and the degree in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,DLQI scores of both groups decreased,and the score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05,P<0.01).Conclusion:In the treatment of skin dryness and pruritus caused by blood deficiency and wind-dryness associated with osimertinib after operation of early non-small cell lung carcinoma,the combined effect of modified Danggui Yin and mometasone furoate ointment is accurate,which can significantly alleviate the symptoms of skin dryness and pruritus,improve patients' quality of life and increase patients' compliance.
