Applied research of 3D visualization technology combined with PBL and CBL in orthopedics surgery teaching
Objective:To explore the application effect of new teaching mode of 3D visualization technology combined with problem-based learning(PBL)and case-based learning(CBL)in orthopedics surgery teaching.Methods:Students trained in the new teaching mode were taken as the observation group,and students in the same grade trained in the previous year's traditional teaching mode were taken as the control group.The results of theoretical and clinical practice assessment,teaching achievement evaluation system,overall satisfaction and self-efficacy score of the two groups of students were com-pared to evaluate the teaching effect of the new teaching mode.Results:In the examination of theoretical knowledge,there was no statistical significance in the scores between the observation group and the control group(P>0.05).However,in the assessment of clinical practice skills,the observation group was significantly better than the control group,and the differ-ence was statistically significant(P<0.01).The teaching achievement evaluation system,overall satisfaction and self-efficacy score in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group,and the differences were sta-tistically significant(P<0.05,P<0.01).Conclusion:The new teaching mode of 3D visualization technology combined with CBL and PBL has significant advantages in cultivating students' clinical practice skills and enhancing their self-confidence.
