Analysis and Prediction of Ship's Energy Efficiency Based on Operational Data
To comply with the tightening emission control requirements,a calculating method for the operational performance of ships at sea is proposed to analyze and predict the operational efficiency.A large container ship is used as the research object and its operational data in the first two months of 2021 are analyzed.The results show that the actual efficiency of the ship is about 11.2%less than the design value.Measures such as repairing in dock and adjusting of ship's operating conditions can be used to improve effectively the ship's operational energy efficiency,while predicting of ship's operational energy efficiency is helpful to work out the feasible measures to improve the future carbon emission level,which may provide reference for the improvement of ship's efficiency management plan.
