Energy Consumption Analysis of Trailing Suction Dredger in the Whole Operation Cycle
Based on the log data of a trailing suction dredger in the Pearl River Delta waterway dredging project, this paper analyzes the distribution characteristics and variation patterns of the main energy consumption of the dredger from the perspective of the entire operation cycle.Through Spearman correlation analysis, the weights of the energy consumption influencing factors during the navigation phase are given. The research results show that the weight of speed on ship energy consumption is as high as 80%,followed by ship draft, and the weight of water flow on ship energy consumption is 6%~18%.Therefore,energy-saving research should focus on reducing ship navigation energy consumption. This research result can serve as a reference for subsequent energy-saving research on trailing suction dredgers.
