Design Scheme for a Large Cruise Ship Pod Thruster Installation Platform
In order to efficiently and safely carry out the installation of podded thrusters for large cruise ships in the limited space of the shipyard,taking the first domestically constructed large cruise ship as the research object,this paper analyzes the traditional podded thruster installation scheme and its existing problems,and proposes a"3+3"degree of freedom podded thruster installation platform design scheme based on the five degree of freedom podded thruster installation platform.The overall structure and key components of the platform are designed,and the reliability of the design is verified through structural finite element analysis.The practical application results show that the newly designed pod propulsion installation platform can effectively improve the efficiency and accuracy of pod propulsion installation,significantly shorten the dock cycle,and have reference significance for improving the level of intelligent manufacturing and automated shipbuilding of cruise ships.
