Design Method of Drinking Water System for Large Cruise Ship
The drinking water system of a large cruise ship is taken as the research object to carry out quantitative analysis in response to the problem of high water load from five aspects:domestic water consumption,miscellaneous water consumption,peak drinking water consumption,water production capacity and drinking water tank capacity.To keep the drinking water clean,the structure,function and parameters of the water treatment system are analyzed according to the Vessel Sanitation Program;to simplify the complex water supply modes,the distribution systems for cold drinking water and hot drinking water are analyzed;and to comply with the requirements for Safe Return to Port,the configuration of drinking water systems in each safe area is evaluated.The research results indicate that the design with redundant capacity and dual structure can improve passengers'comfort and safety in water usage,which can serve as a reference for the design of drinking water systems on other large cruise ships.
